Bheem is a short story

He was born on 10th November 2018 to Jambavathy as a premature puppy, his womb mate was dead when born, and he had the privilege to drink his mother milk all alone.

The pink nose and white hair all over with black patches on them is what his description. Neighbors envied to see both dogs have human nature and two of them made a request to hand them over a puppy to them if our dog yields in future.

OK coming back to puppy, we were all so happy when he closed his eyes for the first day and walked to see the bowl of cow milk to drink so hungrily.

Bheem is the name we gave him unknowingly and he proved that he is nothing less than the Giant Bheem of Mahabharatha who is said to eat a lot and digest quickly. This little puppy was eating a lot to his size and takes a short brief naps to digest and chase us for next bowl of food. The way he used to wait while we cooked for both him and his mother Jambavathy is so memorable.

The way Bheem was sleeping, reminded us that our neighbors were right saying that he is human. When I see this photograph of him sleeping when he was a month old, I keep wondering why humans are taking birth as dogs at our home and also at my parents place.

Sameway I wonder more to see how dogs are born as human beings all over this society, otherwise why they stand at streets all the time and watch people, and bark when a stranger like me pass them through? And many of them have seen me passing through everyday and still I am stranger to them!! Oh my...

His favorite place to sleep is his mother's lap and sometimes Nathan's school shoe too. Maybe he liked the warmth of the leather shoe as he was finding it similar to his mothers'. Or maybe he doesn't want to see the light which could have scared him in the first month of his life.

Second month onwards he was more energetic, running all over the places, eating all his and his mother's food, playing with his mother, working with us in the garden (yes, he digs the soil just next while we dig for planting!!). His favorite pit was his camp in the evening which his mother Jambavathy uses if she feels emotional somedays. Here is a video of Bheem playing like a tiger with his mother.

He left us in an accident on 31st January 2019, but we are pretty sure that he deserves a better form for him maybe a human body now born somewhere. He was a very short story for us in our life.

Nathan was very sad weeping alone in the backyard of our home as he was carrying Bheem when it left its last breath, Nathan was continuously trying to wake him up it seems. KPS has had no chance to salute this small wonder as he was out of station, here is the only picture he saw when came back. He was not sad, but he said it is a short and beautiful experience that we can remember as part of our own story and hence he wanted to put it in words and pictures to remember for a while.

Thank you mother nature, to take a tiny form and jump around us, letting us observe and learn so many secrets of this miracle which is simply called as LIFE by ignorant people like us everyday.

Even if we pay you with all our earnings and savings, you cannot give back the charm in that little form which stopped breathing, barking, following and waiting for his food just next to the stove while us cooking.

It is a unique play you offered us, thank you, we appreciate the beauty in it.

Love is still alive around us

Last weekend, I was waiting in an international school reception for my wife to finish her interview. While getting bored with browsing the magazines, I started observing the people around. Here are some I noticed:

  • One pretty girl of my son's age was waiting just like me for an hour for her mother to come back and pickup after school. Girl's amazing smile on that charming face really attracted me but sametime it really shocked me the gesture of the mother. No smile... no love on face... no jeevan... no life. I don't know what makes an adult to skip a childs charm, it really doesn't cost anything and not even a fraction of their time.

  • Another boy staying in the hostel was brought by the care taker to be handed to his mother to go home over weekend. This mother was looking good with make up... but to her eyes the boy was almost invisible. Even the boy had no energy to wave and smile. He was just carrying a bag... probably with his dirty clothes in.. don't know just behind his mother. She was walking so energetic like a model without even caring for the dragging poor boy behind.

I was feeling so hopeless how these relationships have become these days. Where is the love of mothers gone? who has taken it away?

  • But to console my mind, my son told me about our dog which ran out of the house compound when I left for Bangalore. It seems it was waiting in the corner of the street for three hours and it didn't eat food in the night. I remembered an incident of this dog showing so much of tears when the family was leaving for abroad last year. There is so much of love inside which she can't really express like us but she is better than any human relationship.

  • Another mother I could meet in an ashram, she is a cow brought from Gujarath. She started really crying when she saw me during my second visit to the ashram, what a true emotion! In the photograph on right side, you can see the tears flowing so much on her face. We couldn't really stop it but try to compensate with feeding some green grass (she doesn't eat dried straw).

Learning for me:

The love is still alive in this society, only condition that I should stop searching it in human beings who have evolved from animals. I should look up to the animals around us who still are same as old generation.. natural with emotions and love. They are not yet spoiled by our social systems such education and family.

New Year Resolutions 2018

My new year resolutions are very simple this year, below is a visual presentation of them :)

Some rationale behind:

  • Spiritual truths were all experienced and shared by great minds over centuries. They all had few qualifying criteria to choose right people to distribute. Somehow the books and media help common public to violate and acquire the knowledge and techniques without a real guide. One such criteria is disinclination from the systems in search of the truth. If a person is happy without spiritual knowledge, leave him/her just the same state.. it is better that way.

  • The news in the media today is manipulate and even faked by rich class to confuse the middle and low class in the society. They achieve power through this constant exploitation; it also help the rich criminals to escape punishments at the cost of an innocent who did only one mistake..."buying a television or a news paper".

  • The so called popular music of our age is the culprit of making so many of our children very dumb. It kills the very sensitive brain cells of our children who were born to make this world and human kind better. Alas!! we don't let them :( we in fact systematically program their brain cells to listen only a set of repeated music notes leaving major portion of the brain going waste.

Remembering the Sky

Some evenings are blessing for me (in fact for all of us), but to realize... you need to look at the highest possible thing... I mean the sky. I thought I am truly missing the balcony of our flat in Toulouse that gave me a view of great sky till mid of this year. But I will find a window now and look at the sky which doesn't go anywhere, irrespective of the country and class it is same for everyone.

Just in memory posting the following photographs, its like an artwork of the nature, don't you agree?

Nagalinganesh is Hindu Trinity

My colleague wanted to have mini Ganesh idol similar to the one I posted earlier.
Out of over confidence I said I am going to make a better one for him. And ended up with an idol which is a combination of Ganesh+Shiv lingam+Serpent.

It looks to me like a Hindu Trinity now. How?
   Ganesh=Son
   Shiv lingam=Father
   Serpent=Holy Ghost

Better I make a child Ganesh that he wanted. I am in dilemma to gift this sort of unusual forms to anyone.

Akshath's Artwork

Akshath is one of those rare personalities I met at work and wondered what is he doing here!! Yes! I wished such beautiful minds to focus on bringing out the art of their inner-self and stay in harmony within. It could start with some hobby indeed and he agreed on a simple sketching to start with.

Here are the first two sketches Akshath has made and he is now accepting that he can learn quickly. (I knew it before... :))

Sculpture to recover Nathan

Nathan was so lost into his school work in couple of weeks and I could finally find a quick way to bring him out to his original state... art work. All I did was starting some clay sculpture myself and challenging him. He loved it and and enjoyed for few hours this Sunday. Thanks to Tamaala for giving us the natural clay.
Nathan's first Ganesh Idol
Ganesh Idol finished with Gold and Copper powder colors
Smallest Shivalingam this world has ever seen... Nathan's serious work!!!
KPS also learnt from Nathan to make a Shivalingam... but with two serpents
Shivalingam painted without giving time to finish as KPS had to run for his bus back to Bangalore!!!

Wow! Holy Cow!!

Usually our desi cows are healthy and beautiful, the ox is bit more than just magnificent. Look at these heroes doing pride walk but unfortunately men thought to beg with them.

When I saw them near my office today watched in wow all over my eyes... but probably it was invisible for some and some were wondering why I am taking a snap of such animals!

These heroes walk kilometers on hot tar roads through out their life but never fall sick. This is very unlikely with all our modern breeds imported.

Simple House Model

I can't believe myself when I build a mini house model for the first time; nothing else could have been so satisfying than this kind of handiwork. It took two hours plus in the evening and entire night to dry the glue etc.

Here are different views of the model as of today, not yet painted, it can look better once painted:
Now I feel that I don't have to invest anything on Lego blocks for my son, can teach him to make any architecture with two items I used: Sunboard and Fevicol. The links to the supplies and tools that I used for this piece of work are given below in case anyone interested to buy them online.
